Mr Jesse Kenton-Smith is a Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand and Cosmetic Surgeon with an established private practice. Jesse is passionate about repairing cleft lip and palates in children and regularly travels overseas to perform these operations through plastic surgical charities. Jesse was also a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at Christchurch Public Hospital (from 2003 to December 2016) when he decided he wanted to focus entirely on his private practice. Dr Mary Irvine is both a Family GP and an Appearance Medicine Physician. Dr Irvine is one of the few GPs in New Zealand who works closely with a Plastic Surgeon. Dr Kenton-Smith and Dr Irvine often work together to maximize aesthetic results, using a range of Botox, cosmetic fillers and cosmecuetical skin care. Find out more
Kaye is our warm and enthusiastic receptionist/medical secretary and PA to Mr Kenton-Smith. Kaye joined our team in July 2013 after many years working for Jesse as his secretary in the Plastic Surgery Department at The Public Hospital. We are lucky to have her and all her experience.
Kaye works Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.
In her spare time Kaye loves to walk her dogs along the beach.
Robyn has been a part of Jesse's team since 2005. Robyn works Tuesday and Friday mornings at our reception desk working her magic on any issues that come her way. Before reducing her hours, Robyn was Jesse’s PA for 7 years. We are fortunate to have her as part of our team especially with all her experience in plastic surgery.
In her spare time Robyn tends her lifestyle property including Alpacas and walks ‘Scruffy’ her dog.
Jackie is our caring and very experienced plastic surgery nurse. Jackie is a registered nurse and worked in the plastic surgery department of Christchurch Public Hospital for many years prior to joining Jesse's team in January 2013.
In her spare time Jackie gardens and walks her dog.
Donna fulfils the role of practice manager at 5 Naseby St, she has been doing this for this since 2003. She works on Tuesdays and Fridays.
In her spare time Donna skis and mountain bikes.
