These treatments are not permanent. If you have not had them done before, you can try them, safe in the knowledge the effects will last a few months. Your old look with gradually return.

Our aim is for you to feel and look great. We don’t aim for a " Hollywood " overkill look. We work with you to identify the areas of main concern, and plan the best treatment, or mix of treatments, to achieve the look you want.

New patients are assessed by our nurse, Karen, and then a treatment is recommended. Dr Jesse Kenton-Smith (Plastic Surgeon) will then meet the patient and ensure that his aesthetic eye agrees with Karen's.

We advise a conservative approach to give a natural look.

We offer these cosmetic clinics on Friday afternoons, so that when you return to work the following week, any temporary swelling will have returned to normal, and no one will guess you have been treated!

HYALONURIC ACID BASED DERMAL FILLERS

Hyalonuric acid is a naturally occurring component of our skin. One of the physical features of hyalonuric acid is that it is hydroscopic – that is, it binds water to itself. This is one of the important features that makes these products so successful in cosmetic treatments. It hydrates your skin from the inside. The hyalonuric acid is a complex sugar in a clear gel form. The filler is injected into areas of the face where lines require plumping, or volume needs to be restored.

If this is your first treatment, and lines are quite deep, we may plan a 2-part treatment three months apart, to get the optimal effect.

Simply putting in more product does not more effectively eliminate lines. You may replace lines with lumps! Instead, taking a 2-stage approach means the skin has stretched, hydrated and softened, and is more responsive, thus lines are softened naturally, with a longer duration improvement.

You just keep looking better and better. Instant results, giving a natural, instant lift.

Are there side-effects? Most commonly firmness, lumps, bruising or redness at injection site. These are temporary and generally resolve within a few days.
