New Skin Care Range
The 'Aspect Dr' and 'Results RX' skin care ranges are now available to purchase at the surgery. Both Aspect Dr and Results RX are paraben and sodium lauryl sulphate free skin care ranges, made from organic ingredients wherever possible, contain no artificial preservatives or fragrances, are Chirally Correct and are not tested on animals .
We also have two other skin care products, Actinia Sunscreen and Teamine Dark Circle Remover Eye Cream. They are not part of the Aspect Dr or Results RX range but are so effective that we decided to stock them.
Dr Kenton-Smith, his family and his staff use all these products themselves. Dr Kenton-Smith and his wife tested several other, well known, cosmeceutical skin care ranges before deciding which they liked the most. Aspect Dr and Results RX can only be purchased through doctors.

We care about providing quality information about skin care products that we believe in. There is absolutely no expectation that you buy any products in our skin care range at the end of a consultation.

Eye Dr - Results RX
A vitamin A based eye cream which is designed for use at night and to be showered off in the morning. This vitamin A cream is suitable for use around the eye socket and works to plump out any fine lines. The cream can also be used on the skin above the upper lip to reduce lines in this area.
Serious Protection - Results RX
An extremely high quality physical sunblock to shield your skin from the sun's harmful rays. This mineralised sunscreen manages to avoid the whiteness that other physical sunblocks leave on your skin, without the use of the possibly harmful nanodising technology used in some sunscreens. This sunscreen should be used under make up.
Reflect RX - Results RX
Another extremely high quality physical sunblock. Reflect RX is in a spray form so it can be patted on over make-up during the day leaving none of the whiteness usually associated with physical sunblocks.

Actinia Sunscreen - Not Aspect Dr or Results RX
A pump dispenser chemical sunscreen scientifically proven to significantly reduce the incidence of all skin cancers when used in the manner directed. A very good sunscreen for patients who have previously had skin cancers removed and want to reduce their chances of more skin cancers forming.

Introducing our newest staff member - Registered Nurse & Injector Karen Earl
Karen has been a Registered Nurse since 1995, and has worked for many years in the dermatology field. Karen has extensive experience as a senior injector of Botox and dermal fillers, including the older collagen fillers. In more recent years, Karen has been working with the hyalonuric acid based fillers, Restylane and Juvederm. Karen has also worked with IPL and laser therapies.
Karen runs clinics at the practice on Friday afternoons. A consultation with Karen is free. During a consultation you can discuss your skin care needs, whether it be your skin quality or wrinkles and lines you would rather erase. If you do decide you would like a dermal filler or botox treatment then Karen will explain what she would recommend. Before any treatment is administered, you will meet Dr Jesse Kenton-Smith and he will assess the aesthetics Karen is aiming to achieve. Your treatment will then be administered by Karen. You will return to the clinic a few weeks later for Karen to check that your treatment has given you the best possible result. If not a "top-up" of dermal filler or botox can be given.
Outside of work; Karen is a mother of 3 and has a passion for animals. Karen has bred and exhibited Shetland Sheepdogs for more than 20 years. She also breeds miniature Mediterranean donkeys, American miniature horses, Ocicats and miniature kune kune pigs and still finds time to read and garden!
