Dr Jesse Kenton-Smith

Dr Jesse Kenton-Smith is a Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand and Cosmetic Surgeon with an established private practice.  Jesse is passionate about repairing cleft lip and palates in children and regularly travels overseas to perform these operations through plastic surgical charities. Jesse was also a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at Christchurch Public Hospital (from 2003 to December 2016) when he decided he wanted to focus entirely on his private practice. Jesse is a qualified surgeon in both Britain and New Zealand, holding surgical fellowships in both countries. Find out more
 

Dr Kate Matthews

Dr Kate Matthews is also both a Family GP and an Appearance Medicine Physician. She also works closely with Dr Kenton-Smith. Kate joined our practice in 2018 and treats with fillers, Botox, skin needling and can advise on skin care. Find out more
 

Kaye

Kaye is our warm and enthusiastic receptionist/medical secretary and PA to Mr Kenton-Smith.  Kaye joined our team in July 2013 after many years working for Jesse as his secretary in the Plastic Surgery Department at The Public Hospital.  We are lucky to have her and all her experience.

Kaye works Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.

In her spare time, Kaye loves to walk her dog along the beach.
 

Robyn

Robyn has been a part of Jesse's team since 2005. Robyn works Tuesday and Friday mornings at our reception desk working her magic on any issues that come her way.  Before reducing her hours, Robyn was Jesse’s PA for 7 years.  We are fortunate to have her as part of our team especially with all her experience in plastic surgery.

In her spare time, Robyn tends her lifestyle property including Alpacas.
 

Lucy

Lucy is our Practice Nurse and a registered nurse.  Lucy has extensive experience as a plastic surgical theatre nurse and was also involved in ophthalmic surgery for many years prior to joining Jesse and the team in early 2020.
 

Katie

Katie is our second Practice Nurse. Katie is a registered nurse and has worked at our practice since 2018.
 

Donna

Donna had the role of practice manager at 5 Naseby St since 2003.  She is now practice manager at our Nautilus Plastic Surgery Clinic. She works on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In her spare time Donna gardens and mountain bikes.
